Are you doing something old, new, borrowed and blue for your wedding?
So far I sowed buttons from my mothers wedding dress (who passed four years ago) onto my dress as something old
My dress itself is my something new lol Blue is my pendant. My mom gave me the Christmas before she passed. Has a sapphire mine and my daughters birthstone. I have nothing borrowed though. Hoping my dad comes through lol

My something old is my grandma's wedding ring. I also borrowed it, so it could be my something borrowed. I bought my dress in 2020, so at this point that could be something old too 😅 My something new is a bracelet my FMIL got me. Something blue are my shoes.

I’m not doing it. I think it might have irritated my mom a bit but I had a vision for what I wanted to wear/look like so I bought all new jewelry/ accessories and won’t have anything like that. Plus I don’t want to wear blue

We're not going out of our way to do it, but it'll likely end up being done regardless. We have tons of new things. For borrowed, My FFIL is lending my FH cufflinks that belonged to his dad (my FH's late grandfather). MY FMIL is having a bowtie made out of material from her wedding dress (something old) as a gift. I don't really know about the blue part. I've considered blue shoes, or something but I don't necessarily want to do it just to do it. So if we end up with something blue, great, if not, oh well.

One of our colors is deep teal, and I was planning to wear teal shoes, but the ones I ordered pulled bluer in person, so I'm counting that as my something blue lol. My jewelry will be new and making it's debut on my wedding day. I ordered my dress over 2 years ago and it was supposed to be for our original date last year, so there's something "old". I might ask my dad day-of to borrow a coin to stick in my shoe for good luck.

I didn’t even think of asking my dad to borrow something silver. I may ask him during the rehearsal/ dinner

I am! My necklaces are my something old (One was the diamonds from my maternal grandmother's engagement ring that I was given when I graduated college, the other was the pearl and diamond from my paternal grandfather's tie clip), new is my dress, borrowed is a bracelet from my mother and blue - I'm getting a pair of studs for my middle hole (I have 3 in each ear) that are aquamarines, my fiancé's birthstone).

I wasn't looking to do it, but then went through everything and realized I had everything but borrowed and my mom had a bracelet that matched my aesthetic perfectly. I wanted the aquamarine earrings just to have his birthstone on me during the day. Sometimes it just works out.

It's not a big thing in our family, so I'm not really doing it. I have blue shoes for my details shots (because they match my wedding colors) but that's it, oops!
