Okay, so as are most of you, I am on a tight budget for my wedding. And honestly, I really can't see spending tons of money on flowers that are going to die, but I still want my wedding to be pretty. So I've been looking and looking and Sam's Club seems to be a great route to go. I'm attaching a link for reviews for the different types of flowers and what not. I'm pretty sure this is the direction I am going to go for mine. Just wanted to give everyone on a budget a heads up.

For my wedding I am getting my flowers from a flower broker. If you can find brokers like this in your area you will save so much money because you are getting them directly as they come in from their growers. I will be paying about .48 cents a rose and that to me is a great deal compared to $1.50- $2.00. In addition they have so many options in flowers.

If you cannot find a broker Costco or Sam's is a great alternative.

Is this like grower direct? A 48 cent rose will almost certainly not be a premium quality large rose. Sounds like a 40 cm standard color. A standard rose at wholesale runs from 95 ccents, premium roses in the more interesting color varieties can be $2.25. Mass merchandisers like Costco can negotiate lower prices, but have quality control issues.

Its not like a grower direct. I actually used to work for this broker and they actually receive their flowers from the growers and since they buy so many they get great deals and are able to pass on to me. The quality is amazing on these flowers. We have a lot of people that come in and buy directly from them because of the price and quality. It was just a suggestion on my part but Sam's or Costco could both be great as well.

The costco I will be getting my flowers at are always fantastic. I have bought bouqets for FMIL and they have lasted for ever. Also the lady in charge of the flowers is always at the store before the local place that delivers the flowers daily gets there. As soon as she gets them she brings them back in to the cooler where they stay, until she brings them out to the floral cooler. They check the temps of all freezers and coolers every hour to make sure they are running properly and if they are not they take the proper measures to get things fixed. The lady in charge of the flowers gets mad if any costco employee puts out flowers because she makes sure if any crap flowers came in that day that they go back the next day. but the employees dont know what is bad or not. the floral lady tho is there usually 10 hrs a day. so if it gets real busy she will come back to restock the flowers so no one gets bad stuff... and its soooooo cheap!

I am very angry and disappointed at Sam's Club. I asked flowers to be delivered last Thursday and I live in Los Angeles central area. Half of the flowers arrived on time, but the other half did not until the next day. During the wait, I called Sam's Club and they only told me that i would receive an email when it was sent out and could not provide other info. We waited for an entire day and the flower did not arrive that night. When we called again at night at 6pm, their customer service was already out.

Because it was delivered late, flower did not have enough time to drink water, my schedule was completely messed up, I had to get extra help from friends and money for other flower, and, it causes tremendous amount of stress on me right before the wedding. I got anxious, cried, and felt stressed. Not a mood a bride wants to have.

After the wedding, I called Sam's Club to request refund. Their response disappointed me even MORE. After several long calls ( on hold most of time), they would only give me $25!! and I had to insist talking to their manager 3 times before the woman was willing to transfer further (still didn't get to talk to a manager). However, in the end, they said they could only give me $50 back. This is humiliating. I even spent $45 on the membership just for wedding flower.

They insisted that they would not give me full refund because flower was not damaged. BUT IT WAS LATE! and this is for a wedding, and it can't be late. Most important of all, they did not try to solve the problems. I did not receive any information about late delivery and they did not try to compensate me fairly afterwards. They don't deserve any trust from customers. It is the WORST company ever.

I tried to post this review on their website, and it was blocked. So I can only post my experience on all bridal websites to tell all brides-to-be that: STAY AWAY FROM SAM'S CLUB! you don't want extra stress to ruin your wedding mood.! and hope you find a good alternative.

Who would think to get their flowers for their wedding from Sams Club?! I did, and they were PERFECT! After my florist called me 1 week before my wedding to inform they couldn’t get any of my flowers in for my wedding, I panicked! Then I found those same flowers (Giant European Hydrangea and miniature cala lilies) on Sams Club, and I had no other choice but to order them. BEST DECISION I MADE! They flowers were perfect, HUGE, and (after following the re-hydration directions exactly) BEAUTIFUL! Plus, I saved SO MUCH money! I could not be more pleased with my flowers! Please note though – directions must be followed to the T to ensure they are perfect! I am so glad I read the reviews about keeping the flowers in a cool dark place, as they thrived! I will be using Sams Club for any future flower events!
