Goody Bags at Reception for Kids

Dminted*Bride, on July 8, 2012 at 1:27 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 4

If anyone is planning on making goody bags for their littler guests, I just found that party city is doing a $1 clearance on a bunch of their stuff, including birthday favors which I though would make awesome fillers for kid goody bags, and way cheaper than some other routes, so thought I'd share. The link is http://www.partycity.com/category/theme parties/clearance event.do Happy Planning everyone! : )

My buddy Andrene did a spectacular job for her little guests. Do a search. I am sure you will find her posts. I will also shoot her an email.

I'm doing goodie bags for the kids. I expect 8-10 kids at my reception because they are my immediate family members, so I'm actually designating one table as the kids table. I bought a bunch of fun little items at Party City (all on sale or clearance). I'm using Red lunch bags (paper) that I will decorate and tag with each kids name and put all the goodies inside. I found the bags at Target and I think it was from their dollar area too. Even though I don't plan on anyone else bringing their kids to my reception I'll have a few extra's made just in case. I would feel awful if other kids showed up and they didn't have a goodie bag for themselves.

Oh Wow Andrene! I love your kiddie welcome bags! I was thinking of just doing reception bags for the children, but after seeing your post I think I might just do welcome bags for them as well (especially since most of the kids will be from OOT). Thanks for the awesome idea! : )
