So I want to preface by saying I love my photographers and they did a fantastic job with what they had to work with. I just cant help but feel fat, frumpy, and pale in my photos. I think the poses had the right idea but just not made for a girl my size and I really did not know this until after the fact. Since I am very curvy some of the poses came off kind of maternity like. I chose an awful dress that initially looked better in the mirror when I wore it then it did when I was photographed in it. I felt like I had a double chin in several photos. I know I have gained some weight in the past year due to stressor (deployment, job loss, pandemic, moving, etc.) but these photos really emphasized to me HOW much weight I have put on. I do like some photos but even those ones I feel the need to edit myself for it to be social media acceptable. I just do not know what to do....I need advice or a pick me up right now....
