Graduate school interview tomorrow ! Nervous AF!

Ahh just got an email from the department's secretary and I wasn't nervous until NOW. I haven't interviewed for anything in a while... I think I am good every job I have interviewed for I have gotten. I am nervous because I have to read an article for discussion and am interviewing with four people! Any tips? I have never interviewed with more than one person!

Good luck!!! I recommend looking online for common interview questions so you can be prepared. And of course, just be yourself! I'm sure you will do great!

Thanks I have been looking online as I don't know anyone who has been through the PhD process so we'll see.

What type of program are you applying for? If you know who you're interviewing with, you might want to consider reading a few of their recent publications to get a feel for what they do. If you can have an intelligent conversation about their research area, that's the best way to make a good impression.

Having just finished my PhD two months ago, I should warn you that it's a ton of work and it'll be trying at times, but it's worth it if it'll help further your career. Don't just get a PhD for the sake of getting a PhD. Only do it if your dream job requires it (professor, industry researcher, ... others?).
