Grand Entrance with Sparklers?

Has anyone done a grand entrance with sparklers? How did it go, and how many people did you have participate in the grand entrance? Our wedding reception is inside in the same location as the ceremony. At the end of the wedding, we'll be walking back down the aisle and out onto the patio off the back, so we can go back outside for some golden hour photos along the river while our guests order drinks and mingle. I wanted to incorporate sparklers for the grant entrance, so I was thinking our families and the wedding party (about 11 people) can come outside and do the sparklers for our grand entrance back into the venue, then we can head right to the dance floor and do our first dance before serving dinner. We only have about 50 guests but I thought it would be easier to coordinate a smaller group for the sparkler entrance. It will still be kind of light out when we do the sparklers, but the venue is right on a river, so the water will be in the background of the photos, and I think it'll look beautiful with the sparklers. Thoughts on the logistics of this? Has anyone done a sparkler grand entrance, and do you have any tips?
