Grand entrance

Nora, on June 12, 2024 at 1:07 AM Posted in Planning 0 3
Hello!
our venue has multiple floors, so not all of the seating is on one level. how could we do our grand entrance and first dance so everyone could have a chance to see?

Have your DJ make an announcement that you’re about to enter and have your first dance. Then anyone who wants to see can make sure they can see.

If you are entering right after cocktail hour, don’t send everyone to seats right away! Have everyone enter and surround the dance floor so when you enter everyone is standing and jump right into your first dance /fatherdaughter & mother son dances. After that send everyone to their seats to eat dinner

I would say have your grand entrance start at the top floor, and work your way down stairs. If the stair case is "open" and the multiple floors have a view of you and your FH, you can pause to wave at everyone, or have a kiss for all to see before making your way to your table.
