Grand March song

Crystal, on December 23, 2019 at 10:40 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

I would be curious to know which songs some of you picked for your Grand March. Also are you having your entire wedding party enter with you or are you and your FH entering alone?

Also...First dance?

My life pretty much revolves around music. I think I have decided on our songs but curious for others ideas.

Grand March-"Lets Get Married" by the Bleachers

First Dance-"Perfect" by Ed Sheeran

Family Dance with my 2 daughters and FH-"Dear Daughter" by Halestorm

I'm not sure what a grand march is. For our processional we used an acoustic version of Prayed For You by Matt Stell for our wedding party and my wife, then I walked to a piano version of Can't Help Falling in Love. For the reception, we all entered to Bring Em Out by T.I. Our first dance was to Better Together by Luke Combs.

The Grand March is when you enter your reception/dance.

We are having the bridal party introduced/enter before us. Then our announcement. We plan to go straight into the first dance. My FH gets to pick the song and so far he's leaning toward Welcome to the Jungle but if he wants rock/metal I'm trying to convince him on Seek and Destroy.

We're weird. But we have eclectic music taste.

I'm walking down to No Man Is an Island - Jacks Mannequin

Bridal party is walking down to I Like to Be Me When I'm With You - Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors

Recessional is I Love You Will Still Sound The Same - Oh Honey

First dance is Smile - Uncle Kracker

HAHA I love it! We are weird when it comes to music also... We haven't decided on much else yet as far as the actual processional in and out of the church, but I want to walk to "Canon in D" on Electric Guitar. Some of the churches we were looking at only allow certain songs.

Our wedding party is entering right before us! Right now we're thinking:

Wedding Party: Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO

Us: I'm letting my fiance pick the song we come in with! He's thinking "Missin You Crazy" by Jon Pardi, since that was our original "song" before "Head Over Boots" came out!

First Dance: "Head Over Boots" by Jon Pardi

DH loves Cannon in D so one on the electric guitar was on our radar. We went with Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus arranged for strings instead, though.

Processional- November Rain cover by Amadeus Electric Quartet

    Recessional- Exsultate jubilate by Mozart

Entrance was Oceans (where feet may fail)- Hillsong United

First Dance was Patience by Guns N Roses

We didn't have ours enter before us. We just entered ourselves to a remix version of marry you by Bruno Mars
