I would definitely mention in a speech that it is her birthday & you feel honored to share such a special date with her birthday & take a moment to honor that! I’m having my wedding on one of my dearest friends birthdays & if she can make it to my wedding (it’s destination) I’ll make sure everyone sings her happy birthday.
