I have my wedding in September this year and while searching for a hairstylist I found one that seemed to do good work but the contract they sent has 20% gratuity included in the price. I fully intend on tipping them but was expecting that I'd at least get a chance to see how they do before I decide just how much to tip (unless they do terrible I'd probably do 20% anyway).
Is this common or should I ask if they can remove that and I'll tip afterwards?
