Greenery centerpiece cost??

Felicia, on February 13, 2019 at 10:27 AM Posted in Style and Décor 1 10
Hey everybody! I am looking for brides who can give me a guesstimate on how much centerpieces like this photo would cost. Did anyone do a centerpiece like this? I’ve heard that they are a lot cheaper than flowers but I’m wondering if it’s a substantial amount. I understand that I’ll have to shop around but I’m a couple months out from getting to that step and eager to start budgeting as well as I can. Also, if you did greenery centerpieces I would love to see them. Smiley smile

I am doing the DIY option from my florist (they order all the flowers/greenery and then myself and up to 5 people go at an arranged time and there is a guided class on how to put together your arrangements) The quoted price for that option was $300 DIY for 6 centerpieces for the below inspiration picture.

That is a really cool concept! I wish I would have the time to do that. Those are really pretty! They have a fun rustic feel.

Are you looking for real palms? Depending on your taste you could do fake ones of good quality (not super shiny plastic-y looking ones) to save more money. Otherwise I am not sure on pricing just thought I would mention the synthetic option if they even were to be cheaper in your area! I find synthetic greenery doesn't look as fake as synthetic flowers.

I haven’t gotten that far yet! Lol. The only thing with fake and diy is that I have to haul everything back with me after. I’ll have to compare pricing. I do love banan leaf and could probably reuse them in my home! Thank you for the insight.

How are you balancing time between setting up your space and having time to get ready? That’s the part that scares me about DIY. I don’t want to be running around like a mad woman the day of. More power to you!!

I went to a wedding expo yesterday and they confirmed that they wouldn’t be cheap. I don’t know what I was thinking! I heard greenery is cheaper but not in this case. Oops lol

These were some of my centerpieces. I used all faux for these (from hobby lobby) so I could have them done ahead of time. but you can probably get leaves like that wholesale for cheap. I got 300 palms from Sams Club ( click here ) that I used for each place setting instead of a charger plate.
