Check Hobby Lobby when they have 50% off sales on fake flowers/greenery.

I second Hobby Lobby during the 50% off. I checked Sam's Club online and they had decent fresh greenery prices too! Cheaper than faux greenery

I haven't done this yet, but here's my plan: (My daughter said I can just do all her centerpieces, etc., she is not a DIY). We have boxwood bushes, and I am going to trim them and practice drying them with glycerine; saw this on YouTube. If this works, it means greenery for only the cost of the glycerine. Smiley smile

I went to Hobby Lobby and bought garland that looks nearly real. It could probably do about 3 centerpieces and was $40. I used a coupon and got it for $25.

Real greenery is almost always 100% better than fake; even if you use fake flowers, real greenery makes everything look better. But yes, like others have said, Hobby Lobby has good sales if you still want fake. Sam's Club has bulk greenery you can buy that is shipped to you for a very good (relatively speaking) price.

It's hard to see, but in the bottom is our wreath centerpieces that I made. Their grapevine wreaths with fake ivy garlands wrapped around them. I think they were like $6-7 at Michael's on sale or with coupons. Afloral.com also has great deals.

Based on the dried eucalyptus thread that is out there now I would NOT use Hobby Lobby. I would see if you can get real greens. They aren't that expensive.

Michaels was an amazing one for me!!! The lady was so sweet who rang me up too! Not only did I grab all the stuff on sale, but she also scanned this coupon that took close to $100 off!!!
