Groom in a Vest, Groomsmen Without

I think this would be fine!

My fiance will be wearing a blue tux with a waistcoat and a bowtie, whereas the rest of his groomsmen will be in regular suits with regular ties, no waistcoats.

It's common for the groom to be differentiated in some way.

My husband is doing this exact thing for our upcoming reception. Him and his groomsmen are wearing the same suits except his will have a vest! Obviously I don't have any pictures as it won't happen until October.

I think that is my plan for the guys as well! Matching ties, but only my FH will have the vest.

That's what my fiancé will be doing for ours - he'll have a navy vest and wear an orange tie. The groomsmen won't have a vest and will be wearing navy ties to match their suits.

I’m getting married in November and this is exactly what we are doing! Charcoal suits, and my FH will have a vest but the groomsmen will not. I was a little worried about it looking okay but I wanted to differentiate between them a little, plus keep costs down for the groomsmen.
