Do you think it would look good to have my groom in a classic, black tux look and the groomsmen in a grey tux with a grey vest and a guava striped tie?

    I think it will work. My FH insisted that he wear a bowtie and the groomsmen wear ties...

    I saw a picture of the groom in a bow tie and the groomsmen in regular ties, and it looked great! (If I remembered where I saw the pic I would post it for you to take a look.) My only suggestion would be to have all of the guys in the same color. I think It may look weird, but that's just me.

    That's what I'm doing, too. I am planning to have the groomsmen in blue to match the bridesmaids and my groom's bowtie in black. Do you think that will look ok?
