What are your thoughts on this situation? Have you ever been to a wedding where something similar occured? Would you use your wedding as an opportunity to take vengeance on your spouse? Why or why not?

What a waste of money, time, emotions, and seems like these two deserve each other. They both sound like crappy human beings.. then again.. you never know what someone has been through or is going through

Just woah. I don't see why you would marry someone who you knew cheated and then put them on blast like that. Not cool

Never been to a wedding were this happened.

If the wedding had all been set up and paid for, guests invited, everything ready, and then I got a tip my FW was cheating....
I 100% would get proof. Would I ambush her on the wedding day? I wish I had the balls to.

He married her? Know he has to pay and go though divorce. Just to show her up? That seems dumb.

I can understand how this type of revenge could be a huge waste but, as you mentioned, you never know what the person has been through. Maybe he found out shortly before the wedding and it was the last straw, I don't know. I personally would just call off the wedding but either way time, money, emotion, etc. would have been wasted.

The marriage isn't legal until the certificate has been signed by the officiant and witnesses, maybe they didn't make it to that stage.

Maybe to humiliate her like I'm sure he felt humiliated.
