Groom's boutonniere

Julianne, on February 4, 2017 at 3:18 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7

I'm DIY-ing the boutonnieres and corsages and am stuck on how to make my FH's stand out from the rest. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I've attached a picture of what all of the boutonnieres look like

Edit: the guys will be wearing plain white dress shirts, not tuxes or suits so I wanted something for them to stand out (hence the bigger starfish) I love how they look as is for the groomsmen/fathers/grandfathers

H had a different flower for his bout. His matched my bouquet and the GM's bouts matched the BM's bouquets.

Can you add a small bit of ribbon to his? Or to all of them, his in a different color.

All of my flowers are calla lilies- my bouquet is a mix of lavender and white ones, BM's are white, mothers'/grandmother's corsages are white, and the groomsmen/dads'/grandfathers' are lavender. I would go white for my FH but all of the groomsmen are wearing a white shirt and it would all blend in together haha

I think its very pretty and very tropical or beachy. Maybe use a smaller starfish tho? To bring attention to the rest of the details in the boutonnière, its a bit big

I agree with @Brittny that the starfish may be too big. Have you put it up against a lapel yet?

I also agree with Brittny. I think it should be more of an accent and it seems too big in the pic.
