Grooms cake

We are going to do a grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner in the shape of a horseshoe, super simple, we are gonna put a lego farrier (FH loves building legos too) and we love cake, thinking a peanut butter chocolate cake!!

Woohoo! I think that is a great decision, I forgot to mention that ours will be a homemade grooms cake for a small rehearsal dinner so we wouldn't be paying for it besides supplies, already have a horseshoe pan (thank god I had so many horse themed birthday parties lol!). If someone wasn't doing a homemade cake for us, we wouldn't bother with a grooms cake and save the $$ too!

We are skipping it and saving the money. It’s not worth it.

I think it is definitely optional. We are going one (my FH is unaware 😆). It was just a fun way to incorporate his interest into a wedding that ended up being way pinker than I anticipated. We plan to serve it so it honestly wasn't an extra cost and won't go to waste. His friends and co-workers will enjoy the theme and eating it too.
