I hate to ask this personal of a question, but I was wondering what everyone has paid, or is looking to pay, for their groom's wedding band. We've seen a couple that we've liked, but seem rather expensive, but for all we know those could be average-sized. We've looked all over online trying to...

We've seen a couple that we've liked, but seem rather expensive, but for all we know those could be average-sized. We've looked all over online trying to compare pricing, but I was just curious as to what everyone thought.

It really depends. He's a machinist so since he would be removing it at work I was thinking of a simple cheap band that is a soft metal that could be replaced if needed. He kind of fell in love with a more expensive band that has a copper inlay which runs about $350, but he was really concerned because it doesn't "match" mine. Right now the plan is to go with the one he really likes. I'd rather have him get one he really likes, even if it is more than we planned to spend.

I paid 600. He spent enough of my ring. I felt it would be wrong of me to get him something cheap.

$20 for a tungsten ring he picked out from images online - he had no idea how much it was when he picked it! it's a beautiful ring and tungsten is good for longevity and tough wear. also getting the silicone bands for when he works.

I haven't picked it out yet. But looked into it. It's about $500 and I'm ok with that considering the cost of my rings.

A whole $20 on Amazon. It's tungsten carbide and looks so nice! He works with his hands and needed one that would shatter If it got caught on something. That way his finger doesn't rip off lol

His was $400. I guess I should add it's rose gold with rhodium dipping on the outer edges. No diamonds, just a diagonal "diamond cutting" around the band in the middle. Mine was originally $1270, got it down to $800 with in-house sales. Rose gold too, 16 diamonds. Both at Zales.

We paid around $200 for FH but that's because he had some coupons from when he purchased my ring at Zales! I think we had about $900 in coupons so we went to get our bands a month after we got engaged so we could use the coupons. I ended up with 2 bands and he got a white gold band with diamonds. After all the coupons it came down to $200 from about $500

ETA - I must mention he wears a suit to work everyday so he wanted something to compliment his attire, it does look too dressy when he wears tshirt and jeans on the weekends though

About 25 on overstock. He works in construction so anything he wears will be ruined quickly

    $1,700.

His is yellow gold with a few diamonds. We wanted the black and gold band but Jared didn't offer the lifetime warranty on those.

Tungsten bands are dirt cheap online. We'll probably go that route.

Wow, mine FH cost bout $450 on sale (orig.$630) from Zales, he wanted something jus as nice. I didn't really mind bc mines was $1590 on clearance ($2940). Besides the fact that his 10K w/semi-diamonds & mines 18K w/7/8 diamonds. I'm not complaining bc we r both satisfy:-)

ETA: But we r looking into cheaper bands for wen we travel. Tierra's FH 2,500 (nice!!). Did u get @ Zales??

This is very quality dependent and store dependent. I won a $1500 credit at a jewelry store from a bridal show, so we used it all on our rings since there was nothing else I really wanted/needed. We could have spent $100 each if we wanted to, but since we had that credit, we went all out.

We paid $700 for a white gold comfort band ring. Everyone is different and will put a different priority on this.
