Groomsmen Attire - Matching or Mixing It Up?

My groom will stand out. He will wear charcoal and the groomsmen will wear a lighter grey. The BM will wear a lavender tie (to match the MOH's dress) and the other groomsmen will wear eggplant (to match the other BM's dresses).

I would like my groom to wear a bow tie and have the rest of the guys to wear ties. Also, their ties will be in two different shades of our colors because the girls are wearing two different dress colors.

My FH is wearing the same tux, but a different colored bow tie and vest as his groomsmen.

View Quoted Comment He got it custom made in a local shop but the designer was from Netherlands so it was build there. He loved it because he personalized it and was able to pick everything and include our wedding date and initials in the jacket, bow tie and even shirt. He also picked the inside with a sport lining.

I love everything about that idea!!! Do you think he'll ever wear it again? That's so awesome how he was able to personalize it!!! I now want to look into doing this for my husband. I loved the tux he wore for our reception so much, I wish we bought it! I will have to see if I can find somewhere near us that does this and figure out how much it costs. We plan to mix and match with the bridesmaids dresses!

Groomsmen will all have the same attire on. The groom was going to dress the same, but then we decided on a paisley jacket instead!

Groomsmen will be matching, but the pocket square colors will be alternating.

We will be matching.. color coordinated as appropriate

I am wearing a grey suit with blue accents to match the decor. I informed my groomsmen that they were under the same rules as the guests. No black, no white, bring color. It's a celebration, not a senior formal.

Definitely matching groomsmen in light grey, and a bit different for my groom. Probably elegant black.

All of the groomsmen are wearing Navy Blue Calvin Klein suits with a powder blue vest and bow tie. Shoes they will be wearing caramel shoes and matching belts.
