Groomsmen Gifts

Danielle, on May 15, 2022 at 1:41 PM Posted in Planning 7 12
We are getting married in two months and my FH is struggling to settle on a a groomsmen gift. Several of his close friends have gotten married recently and have handed out gifts that he doesn’t want to repeat (flasks, coolers). Appreciate any suggestions or what you did at your wedding. Thanks! I was also thinking about utilizing these gifts for our dads as well (fyi)

Both my brother in law and my FH did pocket knives. It’s something that almost every guy will appreciate even if they have fifty. 😂 Your FH could either pick out a high quality brand or get something off Etsy that is engraved with their names. I’m having two bridesmen in my bridal party and I’m getting them high quality American made Dopp kits from In Blue Handmade. If I hadn’t gotten them the Dopp kits, I would have gotten them backpack coolers since they like camping.

What would he buy if it was their birthdays? What are their personal interests and hobbies?

That’s a really nice touch! We are getting the tuxes from men’s warehouse, but I will definitely suggest looking into options for purchasing part of their “wardrobe” - thanks!

We discussed that as well; since there is a wide range of individuals, it would all be different gifts, which is not a terrible idea. That way everyone gets what they want. Thanks!

My FH got the ties and pocket squares for their outfits since the colors we wanted could not be rented from Joseph A. Bank. Just so that stuff they were required to wear day-of wasn’t the only gift, he also got them tie clips and cuff links personalized off Etsy. They were not as expensive as you might think! He searched for the lowest cost seller with still good reviews. He also got them glass beer boots engraved with their initials since we have a craft beer theme going.

Thanks, Erin! Those are great gifts and I like the idea that everything they get isn’t a one use only for the wedding.

We're big nerds and our friends are too. Groomsmen are getting custom gaming controllers in (more or less) our color with our wedding hashtag on them. Maybe a special box and booze too.

Groomsmen Gifts 1My husband and his groomsmen play DND (even did a DND campaign for his bachelor party). He got them these coasters that hold dice and then some dice in our wedding colors (both things found on Etsy). He also included their favorite snacks and five mini bottles of alcohol (something we both did) and root beer for his underage cousin and our friend who doesn't drink.
