I am a huge craft beer person. I have dragged my fiancé to probably hundreds of breweries. Everyone who knows me knows how much the two of us love beer. One of my friends suggested that we put all the growlers we have to use and use them as vases for some babies breath or babies breath + other flower for our reception centerpieces.

Something to consider: My growlers are from all different breweries (we currently have 10 growlers and I think we will have 12 tables) but they are all different sizes - some are small and hold two glasses of beer and some hold a gallon.

Our venue is a beautifully redone 4H camp - gleaming hardwood, a lake outside. It will be an October wedding. It will not be super super fancy. I want it to have the feel of a more elegant or formal event BUT we will also have cornhole and a brunch buffet to make it more about us.

Would this look rustic or trashy?

Rustic! I would use the bottles with little candles on the tables.

Hi Aubrey! I I think the idea of oversized flannels is adorable! As for beer, It may be cheaper to purchase beer by the keg than to buy individual bottles! You can even purchase local beers to incorporate a hometown element! You could possibly do a beer stand at your wedding with the kegs at them? Something like this:
