Guest book Alternative

I have seen the photo booth where each guestbrakes a picture and a copy is placed in a guest biok and you can sign.


I considered something with everyone's fingerprints like a drawn out tree or simething but think it might be too much with ink and stuff.

But you have many other possibilities ! I wanted something simple, to encourage everyone to participate, as in a traditional book, we don't always know what to write I guess..

I went to a wedding recently where the Bride & Groom had a huge photo frame with an open slot at the top. Their theme had stars in it, so they had these wooden star cut-outs that guests wrote messages on and then popped them into the top of the photo frame. The stars all stacked up inside with the messages against the glass and they now have it hanging in their house. Lovely!

I am having one of my engagement photos for people to sign. I ordered a framed canvas from this company called Smallwoods, they seem sturdy enough for people to sign with sharpies. They have pretty good sales running all the time too!https://www.smallwoodhome.com/

We did bucket list and date night cards. I wasn't even going to have a guest book. I just saw those cardson sale and figured why not. I really like that tree pic and the large engagement photo idea since you can use it as decor after the wedding

We have one like this but with hearts. We have 2 of them right now, and my plan is to hang them in our house on either side of a big picture of all our guests at our wedding!

We did a wooden board with our last name and Est. 2021 and having everyone sign it. We had no use for a book or anything bulky since we don’t have the space to put it up later but the board can be hung on the wall.

I'm making a cornhole set with our last name and est 2022, for all our guests to sign! After the wedding I'll seal it so we can actually use it instead of sticking it somewhere and never looking at it again!

We wanted something different as well. FH is a huge fan of star wars so we decided to get this. Instead of heart shapes, it's going to be hexagons and our middle piece (solo and leia) is going to be different as well.

I haven't officially decided BUT I am wanting to get square pieces of cloth and have everyone sign one and do a quilt out of it! I figured it is something different!

This our guestbook a custom shadow box it has hearts for people to sign and drop in. We’re going to hang it on our wall in our game room afterwards.

This is somewhat traditional, but I did a photo book with our engagement pictures through Shutterfly. It actually just came in the mail today and I am VERY impressed with the quality. I wanted to do something unique too, but this made the most sense to me as far as storing it and being able to keep it as a keepsake. I just made sure there was room on the sides of the pictures for people to write a message if they want That was probably my biggest struggle with more non traditional guest books is a lot of them just have room for people to write their name, no message

Im going to have our guests sign a matt for a picture frame and then put one of our wedding pictures in it

My bestie who's wedding I was just MOH at had a globe people signed, it was really cute.

We did thumbprint canvas. i wanted something that i could hang as art and not put away.

I had a photo printed as a canvas for the guest book. Its memorable, different, and will be a cool photo to hang. Side note: Etsy has lots of cool ideas!

This was ours which was based off the movie Up! Originally we wanted to do fingerprints but because of Covid switched to balloons that people signed and wrote messages on instead.
