Guest book Alternative

Love all the creative ideas here! I ordered this alternative guestbook for our guests to sign. We plan on hanging it in our living room after the wedding rather than ordering an actual guestbook that we would probably never look at. I got it from Etsy

We have a signed that we got made that everyone can sign and then we'll hang it up in our home after.

We're doing wine & whiskey bottles so that we can open one on our 1st, 5th, 10th, and 25th anniversaries

I can't either! I am going to take it in to a local shop to have them do it for me! I get my quilt and a small business gets a new customer!

We did a picture frame that everyone could sign, Im still waiting for pics from photographer so I cant share one yet lol.

We are using the photo frame with wooden hearts idea. Each person signs the heart plus we for mini wooden boots to drop in to make it look different! Then after the wedding we can hang it up.

I initially bought a guestbook and then I took it back after I realized how irrelevant it will be. We are having a small wedding 50 or less people. We are going to have guests write down their advice on a heart-shaped paper, roll it up and place it in a bottle. So pretty much it will be messages in a bottle. We haven't decided how we are going to go about reading the messages, just yet. We have thought about reading one message a week until we run out of messages or either once a month. Hopefully you two can find something that is meaningful to you both.

We both love soccer so I want to have people sign a soccer ball. I'll have photos of us at all the different games we've been to on the table

We did a wooden “log” (ordered from Etsy). We had a beach wedding so our selection kept with our theme. Hubby is a boat mechanic so the motorboat brings that into our wedding as well! The water is so much a part of our story. My daughter got married in March & did the “ jenga” game & although it was cool the pieces really weren’t large enough for “wishes” & for some the pieces were too small for peoples names (I considered doing the patio sized game for this reason) but then found this log & it was perfect for us (the seller did the boat personalization)! Once it’s sealed it will be hung in our home.

I wanted something we could easily display (vs something that just sat in a drawer somewhere) and we have a small house so I preferred a wall display vs something that needed tabletop space. Because we had a Covid elopement followed by a wedding celebration a year (and a couple weeks) later we used a photo from our actual marriage day and had it printed with some text and a lot of empty space for people to sign. We still need to get a frame for it and hang it!

I've seen so many great ideas on Pinterest I think its more meaningful to use something that you can use to decor your home instead of a guest book that will be stored away later on. Something that can be hung up on the wall and always see would be nice. You can order this on Etsy.
