Guest book or picture frame?

Our photographer is putting together a nice leather bound guest book with our engagement pictures next to a bunch of lines for people to sign. This way we kind of get to do both the frame and the guestbook without it being overkill...

We did the picture frame matte to sign and I love it but one thing to think about is what or how people write if you want to hang it. on ours someone started to write congratulations but spelled it wrong and crossed it out so now we have a big scribble mark on it which I plan on whiting out and it shouldnt be too bad. I think both is a bit much but its all what you want. We bought our matte and frame at All things remembered for 60 dollars. It has turned out really nice other than the messy misspelling. I love the fact that we can hang it and always look at it and read the nice things people have writen I think a book would have ended up getting dusty in our basement.

We're doing both. I think that with a wide age range, some of the older guests are going to want to sign a guest book. So, we'll do the mat and put out pens in our colors, then we can hang it and see it all the time. Then, I bought a scrap book Im going to decorate a little, cause I wanted guests to be able to leave notes (I didnt like the ones where it was only their name and address). Im going to leave a sign up and ask them to include those but with their message or advice. I thought the photo book was really cool, but I didnt want people to sign where you couldnt see the picture anymore. So, we're having one made but to keep at home to show off
