Has anyone used a photo album as a guest book? I hate the idea of a regular guest book because it’s just going to collect dust and although I love some of the alternative ideas like having everyone sign a big letter you can hang in your house...I don’t really have room for that. So I was thinking I could create a photo album from Walgreens or Shutterfly of us from the start and ask guest to sign it in the empty spaces. Would that be weird?

For my bridal shower, I had a blank album. book. Each person signed it and then used my sister-in-law's phone to take a photo. She had the photos printed and she glued them to the photo book. She still hasn't given to me, but hopefully one day she will. I think a photo album for a guest book is really cool. We didn't use a standard guest book either.

My cousin had a photo booth thing that has the 4 pictures and prints out in a strip. Everyone got 2 copies. One went in a guest book, and the other was for the guest. I'm thinking of doing the same this as it was a lot of fun just to take the pictures, and I bet the guest book would be fun to look through afterwards!

Were not doing any sort of guest book. But we are setting polaroids out for guests to use and hang the pictures on a macrame for us. That could be another option to a "guest book"

We'll be doing the same thing. We're looking into getting black pages and colored pens. Our guests will be able to add one of their strips from the photo booth and add in the book and write a note/message as well.

We considered doing this. I think it's a great idea! You can look at the photos and see well wishes from your wedding guests, all in one!
