Guest "plus one" keeps getting deleted/ disappearing

I had my guest list finished and finalized. As i go back a keep double checking it, i noticed that alot of my guest plus ones keeps deleting/disappearing.

My process in adding the "Guest"
Click on "Tabitha Smith" Click on "add related guest" Type "Guest" & click on +add GuestFinally click on " Save additional guest"
Is this the correct way on adding plus ones? If so, why do they still keep getting deleted?? HELP!! very stressful as i have to go back a do every plus one again!!

Yes that’s correct. The rsvp function on here is very wonky!! I found that I can keep it from disappearing if I dont use general names. Like dont use Guest but type in Tabitha’s Guest instead.

Hi Tabitha!
You'll want to make sure when adding an additional guest that you click on "+Plus one" each time, not just the "guest" that drops down- you're essentially taking away from an additional guest that has already been created. Monica has a great idea to name the additional guest as "Tabitha's Guest".
