Guest Transportation - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

Nice to have especially if you have guests that have traveled a great distance.

Still pondering this one. Our guests are out of town, and the reception and venue aren’t in the same place.. but I’ve also been told that we’re not responsible for guests’ travel. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It would be lovely to have, especially for your core group like parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen. However, our wedding is a destination wedding at a hotel, so they'll be staying RIGHT where the wedding is - so we're lucky enough to skip it

But moreover, it is not necessary - But really nice to have at least for the "special" people in the party.

Nice to have: we have a lot of OOT guests but most only live an hour away and it’s a Sunday wedding so we may not have many staying nearby. We’re doing Uber gift cards to those staying in the hotel. This way people can get around safely, but not have to wait for a shuttle

Nice to have. Our ceremony is local, but a lot of guests are from out of town. We booked the room block at a hotel that had a shuttle & rented the shuttle for 2x hrs (1x before & 1x after).

Nice to have but in some cases a need to have if parking is not available or the venue is very remote. We are however looking at hotels nearby the venue that provide free shuttle.

Nice to have. We aren't doing it though. Most of the guests live nearby, and the ones who don't will be staying at a hotel about 5 minutes away

Need to have if your reception venue is a pretty far distance from the hotels in the area. I would want people to not have a good time bc they have to drive back to the are hotels

We're in NYC, so we pretty much told everyone to take the MTA.

Its nice to have but not what im willing to blow my budget on.

If it's hard to get to your destination it confusing then yes, it's a need to have.

I would like to find cheaper transportation to get my guests to hotels if they are drinking!
