Guest Transportation - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

It’s a “nice to have”, but because we’re having a non-traditional destination wedding (it’s not at a resort), we will be providing transportation for guests to/from the airport, which is 2 hours away from our venue. It’s a cost that we already incorporated into our budget.

Need for my out of town guests. I don't want them to have to try to find parking or pay for a valet, and it's going to be in Baltimore...not the safest of cities...

Nice to have,the Marjory of our guest list is here in Las Vegas,and the 8% of our OOT guest have family here that will make sure they get there. Our Church and Venue are 15 minutes apart.

No need for us thank God. Everyone coming will be taken to their hotel via airport shuttles, and the reception will be in the same hotel.

Nice to have. We are keeping our wedding local and the ceremony and reception are at the same place. We have very few people from out of town so we don't feel the need to spend more money on something that hardly anyone would really need.

I thought guest transportation was a need to have for guests who were staying overnight at the hotel we had blocked off. I wanted my guests to be able to enjoy themselves and not have to worry about how they'd get back to their hotel at the end of the night. I've been to weddings were the reception was 45 minutes away from the hotel, and we weren't warned in advance, so one of us had to make sure we could drive at the end of the night. Even without drinking, I think it's nice to provide your guests the option to ride back instead of having to worry about driving somewhere they're not familiar with.

Nice to have, but 90% of our guests are from out of state and will have a rental car anyways.

Excessive. Guests can get around. Uber is awesome.
