Guests and Rsvps

on March 31, 2021 at 6:21 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
Hey, I sent out our invitations last Friday and about 2-3 people have let us know they received them. I wanted to know if it’s common for guests to give a heads up that Invitations have been received? I hope it is. It would honestly give me such a peace of mind to know they were received and not lost. How many of your guests let you know? How do you know if guests received your invitations? Do you reach out after a certain amount of time to confirm?🤔

Some will, some won't. I had a few me know, but I think the majority won't.

Some guests will let you know if they received the invite but most will not. You can call/text/email to confirm.

You will get the bulk of replies on your due date. But you will still have to track down replies from others the couple days after the deadline with fiance's help.

Let me start off by saying that it appears to be extremely normal and very common for people to not RSVP right away. So I would say don’t worry at all! They will come in!

We did virtual RSVPs only through our wedding website. We received a shocking amount of rsvp responses so farThat we definitely were not expecting to receive so soon, but I think it’s just because of our particular situation which is not normal.
We did receive text messages from people, but mostly just saw our email when they RSVPd. If you’re worried that they didn’t get sent out properly, I would just reach out to people you’re closest to first to see if they received it yet. Like family members or people in your bridal party if you’re having a bridal party etc.

None of our guests let us know nor did we reach out to confirm if they did. It honestly takes guests a while to RSVP from my experience so don't worry if guests don't RSVP immediately.

Out of 36 physical invites we sent out, we only had 3 people sent us a "hey! We got the invitations!" messages 😂 it drove me crazy 😂 we sent them out before a huge storm and I kept thinking "omg what if it got lost in the mail???" LOL.

Unfortunately most people will not let you know they received your invitation. I am with you, it gives you a peace of mind that they have it even if they don’t RSVP right away. Waiting for the RSVPs we’re my biggest headache!

We had a few people let us know they received the invites, and RSVP's are steadily coming in. I'm just trying not to worry if everyone got their invites, but it is tough!

Hi! Most guest won’t tell you that they got it. When I sent the save the dates I didn’t hear anything back, but when I sent the invites I sent them with tracking so I could know. (My anxiety) lol everyone has received there and 3-4 people texted to say they received it. We are slowly starting to get back the RSVP’s. Hopefully your crowd is a little different, but it’s ok to follow up and ask them if they got it.
