Guests of Honor?

Cristina, on May 18, 2017 at 9:21 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 3

Hi all!

I'm in need of some creativity. I don't have a ton of friends, and most of my guests are people I "have to invite" but I do have a handful of very close best friends however too large for a wedding party. My bridesmaids and maid of honor will consist of my 2 very best friends, sister and cousin. However I want to include my other friends and cousins in on the wedding day fun such as give them the option to get hair/makeup done with us on the day of and have their own row in front of the church etc. basically a VIP guest but looking for a more fun title for them. I love Disney so if that could be incorporated somehow, even better! Thanks for the suggestions! Smiley smile

Don't give them a consolation prize. Just let them be guests. They know they're your friends.

I totally understand where you are coming from because I had to deal with that myself thinking that my other friends and or cousins will feel some type of way. Remember it's your day and whatever you feel is appropriate so be it. I would maybe have them participate in lending a hand for your bridal shower or important errands or task. Don't dig too deep into it. Titles are not necessary.

If you have the time and budget to pay for their hair and makeup on the wedding day that could be really fun, but don't add unnecessary logistical hurdles for yourself!!

I assume these closest friends of yours will be invited to any pre-wedding events like a shower or bach party, and they don't need a "role".
