I had my hair and makeup trial on Monday. I love the hair, but the makeup is so/so. I love the eyes, but I feel like I need more blush and some contour to give me demension? I'm planning on wearing my glasses and my makeup artist wasn't thrilled about it. She feels like it covers up her work. What...

I had my hair and makeup trial on Monday. I love the hair, but the makeup is so/so. I love the eyes, but I feel like I need more blush and some contour to give me demension?

I'm planning on wearing my glasses and my makeup artist wasn't thrilled about it. She feels like it covers up her work. What do y'all think?

I think you look amazing! You could always try more blush. I'm not a huge fan of the contouring but I bet it would look good!

You look beautiful! I agree with PP, the most important thing is being able to see. I wear glasses too (wearing them right now!) but I've decided to wear contacts for my wedding. Glasses are one of those things that really change with the times (think those coke bottle styles that were in in the 80s - haha!), so I don't want to look back in 10-15 years and be mortified by how dated my glasses look!

Your hair looks amazing!! She totally nailed it! I love your eye makeup as well - the shadow color is perfect! Have you thought about wearing fake lashes? That will help your eyes pop! I agree with you, all you need is some blush / bronzer / highlighting and it will be perfect.
I'm another vote for wearing your glasses! On your wedding day you want to feel comfortable (which may require being able to see ) and still look like yourself!

If you wear glasses on a regular basis then you kind of have to wear your glasses to see lol. Hair looks great and so does the makeup! I agree a little more blush and light light bronzer (not overboard).

Please wear your glasses! First you look gorgeous with them and second, us ladies need to knock out the stereotype the brides with glasses arent ad beautiful. Honestly you really do look amazing in them, and that was rude of her to tell you not to wear them

A professional artist wouldn't comment on the glasses aside from working with them. Hair looks good, I like the make up. Id probably use a different artist though

I think it's your day and up to you if you want to wear glasses not your stylists. You look gorgeous either way!

You look beautiful!!! Really nice makeup, natural looking, and very pretty. I agree that you might need a bit more color to bring out your cheekbones. Hair looks awesome!!
As for the glasses, as a glasses wearer, your makeup artist's comment offends me. It's not like any of us choose to have bad eyes. We do the best we can with the hand we are dealt. It's none of her dang business!! Tell her you'll write her a great review after the wedding.
You look beautiful with the glasses!! Yours are very similar to what my daughter wears. They suit your face. Do you girl!

Your eye-shadow and lashes look AMAZING! A bit more contour and color on the cheeks would be ideal. You want your face to look defined but natural in your pictures. Hopefully, she'll get you right where you want the make-up to be for YOUR wedding day.
