Hair and make up?

Amanda, on December 6, 2022 at 3:26 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 3
I don't mind getting something done to my hair as long as no dye or anything that could potentially ruin my hair is involved. As far as make up goes I've only ever worn it like 3-5 times ever, when I allowed someone else to do it. Make up is an obvious source for bad skin and acne issues and it also makes my face itch. Do I sound crazy or do other people nor like their hair and face touched or made up?

The most make up I wear is mascara, I just had my make up done this weekend for a friend's wedding. I'm glad I did because I didn't want to look too washed out compared to everyone else. But it wasn't great. I just kept my eyes mostly shut and that helped a little.

I look washed out as a person because well I'm a redhead with very pale skin so that's just my natural look. Haha. I just feel like there are better ways to look better than painting your face with products that dry out your skin making pores clog and causing itching, sneezing, etc.

Make-up is trial and error. There are products for sensitive skin and are non-comedogenic. Perhaps look for the words: sensitive skin, sulfate-free, paraben-free, fragrance-free, clean, cruelty-free, etc. Make-up removal products also matter a great deal. But overall, you don't have to wear anything or do anything you don't want. There is no one way to be a bride or to have a wedding.
