On average, how much time are you planning for hair and make-up?

My hair and makeup will be $300, it’s $100 for each of my bridesmaids. That was around the average quote I got for pro makeup/hair artist who can bring multiple people to handle our group.

How much time are you planning for it to take? I have to plan my timeline and just looking at ideas. I feel like I am going to cut it too close with the time my stylist says.

i am at a hotel and using the hotel salon. She said come in at 8:30am but I need to be dressed and down for pictures by 11:00am in the courtyard. I just don’t feel like that is a lot of time for hair and makeup and then getting dressed.

For myself, 7 bridesmaids, and my mom to get hair and makeup done with about 3 hair and makeup artists we’re starting at 7:30am and estimating we’ll be done around 12:30pm. I’m at a hotel near our venue and starting pictures at 1:30. I would overestimate the time you need so you don’t feel rushed or if an issue comes up you’re not cutting it too close!

Make up hour to hour in a half. Hair 2-3 hours assuming we’re going to do the bulk of it the day before.

I’m giving myself 4-5 hours to get ready and will probably have the makeup artist and hairstylist doing both at the same time if times begins to cut close. I can get to my venue at 10a and we’re doing pics at 2 for a ceremony that begins at 330

I’m planning 6 hours of prep time for my group of 8. But I’ll have to double check with my coordinator and stylists.

I think we’re planning for three or four people getting ready. Ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. and we’ll probably start at 11:00 a.m. my question is that idk who should get hair/makeup done first. Bride or everyone else?
