Hair and Makeup costs?!

I'm in Denver (just for reference). I paid $80 for my trial. $240 for day of bridal makeup and hair, $140 for bridesmaids & moms makeup and hair, $40 for travel, $200 per additional artist (past 2 - I needed 4 for everyone), and tip. She didn't charge extra for putting in and styling my clip in extensions.

Prices will vary depending on the area. I live near Cincinnati and I'm paying $150 per service for my hair and makeup, $100 per service for my trials, and $80 per service for each bridesmaid. I booked my HMUA before doing a trial, as have most brides that I know. If you've seen their work and read their reviews, you should know before signing a contract that they do quality work, the trial is just to perfect your specific look.

So, I’m out in Virginia. My HAMUA (two separate ladies) are in Charlottesville and they charge $85 each for a hair and makeup trial. It’s $150 each for hair and makeup on my wedding day and $85 each for hair and makeup for bridesmaids, MOG/MOB, etc.

Mine is $240 for myself, $160 for bridesmaids and $80 for moms, plus a $100 travel fee. Trial was included after I paid my deposit.

My wedding is taking place in Philadelphia and it will be $100 for hair & makeup trial. $200 day of for hair and makeup. And $140 for the bridesmaids/MOB/MOG hair and makeup. I followed her on Instagram for awhile and really liked her style and makeup.

Philly here and I paid 100 for the trial, paying 300 for myself and 125 for the MOH for hair and makeup.

I’m a hair stylist and I run a specific bridal business... it’s literally all I do, and seeing these prices I now feel I’m being way to generous with my pricing!!! Haha!! I’m in the Raleigh, NC area and my prices vary by bride. But I don’t charge anywhere near that amount for most people.

I’m in the Raleigh NC area and their outrageous!!! I’ve been quoted $200 just for my hair!! Makeup is another $150. Plus I have to do a hair/makeup trial!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I thought it’s a lot for a simple style. Maybe it’s just me!!!
