Hair and makeup per person

I am not paying for my wedding party's hair and makeup. I will be paying for my MOH's hair and makeup bc money is a factor for her and I know she can't afford it and she's already traveling 10-11 hours to come to the wedding. Nobody else knows I'm paying for it though so they won't get upset.

It is going to be $500 for me for my trial run, bridal portraits, and the day of for hair and makeup each time. It is $120 for both hair and makeup for each of the girls.

I also wanted to add, the stylist and makeup artist are coming to us/me for both bridals and the day of.

I am not paying for my BMs' hair and makeup. I gave everyone the pricing and the choice for where I'm going and they all decided they wanted me to book them an appointment. We're paying $55 / person for hair and $50 for makeup, which was significantly cheaper than anywhere else in the area. We're going to the salon so everyone can go at once, so it's going to be 2 hours for 9 of us to get hair and makeup.

I am paying for mine and possibly the two moms.

Mine is $135 for hair and makeup and lashes. Includes a trial, which I will use for bridal portraits.

Everyone else is $85 for HMU. $50 if they only want one or the other.

My mom is paying for it. We're getting all 3 of my attendants (MOH, 2 BMs) hair and makeup done, my mother's hair and makeup and of course mine. They are traveling to us, about 30 minutes away from their studio.

Hair for each person; including mine, my stylist doesn't believe in charging the bride more : $65 each

Makeup for each girl is $65 each

Mine will be $85 because I'm getting airbrushed.

So...$150 for me

$260 for everyone else's hair

$260 for everyone else's makeup

$670 total for all hair and makeup

I will pay for their hair, but not their makeup.

I know some of my bm's are low on the whole money situation and I thought it would be nice if we all got our hair done.

ETA: I believe it will cost around $55 per person but I don't know yet as I'm meeting with my salon sometime next week.

I'm paying for their hair and make up. $50 for hair. $45 for make up. I thought it would be a nice gift to all them. Plus my mom has super short hair, so I don't have to worry about getting her hair done. We are going to my stylists house (she'll be 8 months pregnant at that point!) it's about 45min away from our venue.

I'm paying for BMs hair because a family friend and someone from her salon are coming to us and are doing it for cheap (like $250 total). My BMs and my mom will have to pay for their makeup which is $90pp including lashes. Some are choosing not to do makeup because of the $, which I totally get. $90 ain't cheap for makeup, but a friend used them for her wedding and loved them! My makeup trial will be $75 and day of bridal makeup is $125. Hair trial will be free because its a friend

I'm paying for all BM's hair which will be $140 for all four. They have the option to get their makeup done but they have to pay for that. $25 per person. Then my stylist will be doing mine for free since all my BM's are getting theirs done yay!

Bm Hair is $60 each and Make up is $65 each. I'm paying for their hair, but not makeup. Both were optional, and everyone opted to have their hair done. I have some wiggle room left in the budget, so I'm going to pay for their hair now. They just don't know that yet.

ETA: Our hair stylist is allowing 40 minutes per person. Some will take longer, some shorter, but it should average out ok. I think our MUA said about the same. Both will take about an hour each on me.

I won't be paying for their hair and makeup either.

My MUA is charging $45 for my trial, $175 day of, $50 for my daughter then $80 each for the wedding party and our mothers. One of my bridesmaids daughters also wants her hair done that day so she will be doing her hair for $25.

She's coming to us which will save us time!

Not all of my girls are using the MUA though. Which is fine...

I paid for my 3 BMs' hair and make up as well as for my mom and my sister. For them, it was $150 per person and $200 for me. My MUA brought along 3 assistants with her and it took them almost 3 hours to get all 6 of us ready.

I plan on paying for hair and make up for all my bridesmaids.

If anyone in the Massachusetts/Connecticut area knows of any good make up/hair people, please let me know.

I'm so glad you posted this. I don't think I realized quite how much it could be! I already paid for my BM and my MOH's dresses so I can't do this too. I definitely want to get our nails done nicely but maybe we'll do our own hair and makeup... or maybe i'll just get my hair done... i have no idea now lol

I am paying for everybody's hair and make up. So, mine, MOH, 3 BM, my mom and FMIL. Make up runs $55 per person. Haven't figured out the pricing for hair yet. I have always had the mentality that the bridal party is doing me a favor, so I had my mind set on paying for their stuff.

I am paying for their hair and make up as part of their gift. Hair is $25 and make up is $10 per person.

So including me its $175.

I may even pay for my moms, but I think she might get colored and cut the same day so I haven't decided yet.

I am paying for hair. I think it will be about $65 per person. We are all doing our own hair and makeup.

My boss offered to do my hair & help with doing everyone elses. I work in a salon but I don't want to work on my wedding day so I am hiring a 2nd person as a back up to help with time. I don't want to start hair at 7am and I know that we will need a hand if we start at around 9am. I need to have everyone done by 1230 so we can do a 1st look and do pics of me and my girls and my family before hand. 3 1/2 hours for 6 people isn't a lot of time for 1 person. If I need to I'll throw some curlers in to help out lol

You should figure about 45 mins-1 1/2 hr depending on style, experience of the stylist, hair texture, length, and thickness.

ETA : @ Heather - I sent an invite to connect. I know several people in MA / CT who travel for hair and make up. I even know how to get you great discounts & what questions to ask !

I am paying for bridesmaids, moms and flower girls hair and make up. It will be $200 and take about 45 mins per person for hair and 30 mins for make up.

Almostmrs.king - What is your budget? You never know what you will find out there. look around. You may find that someone who has the talent/experience is willing to give you a great deal :-)

At this point I'm thinking I will pay for hair and everyone will do their own makeup...I cant believe makeup is so expensive!! I think I'll go to sephora and look up tutorials!
