Hair and Makeup Trial Advice

I had the opposite issue. Everyone I showed photos to thought my makeup was too dramatic so I asked them to tone it down a bit on my wedding day. I didn't do a second trial. They said they could always change it if I still didn't like it.

Talk with your stylist- they went by what you asked at your original trial. Let your stylist know you love how it turned out but you want just a little more for your eyes. You look absolutely beautiful!

How do you feel in the makeup? And how do you think it looks? If you feel great in it and like how it looks then that's all that really matters. Personally I think you look beautiful and natural, and if you wanted to, you could ask your stylist to make your eyes stand out a bit more.

The hair was very good. I don’t think anything can be perfected in that regard but I agree with Nicole that a little more eyeshadow or maybe a wing to make your eyes pop a little more is a good idea. But if that’s the type of natural look you were going for id keep it as is.

Your hair is beautiful and you want your makeup to reflect your "usual" appearance so that you're not feeling lile you're looking at a stranger in your wedding pictures. My daughter rarely wears make up either and chose to do her own after her trial went awry. Her complexion and minimalism is similar to yours (she used very natural eyeshadow a bit more eyeliner and eyelash extensions than usual but no foundation or lipstick).

I think you look really pretty and I love the hair! If you don't wear much makeup on a daily basis I don't think you want to over do it in your wedding day or you won't feel like yourself. I don't wear much makeup either but I do think your eyes could pop a bit more. Maybe a slight soft eyeliner wing in a neutral brown or gray tone and maybe some natural looking fake lashes or something to open up your eyes. It's a bit hard to tell in the lighting but maybe a bit more blush could be nice as well. I don't think you need to redo the trial. I would just share your thoughts with your artist to adjust for the wedding day.

I think I will stick with the same artist but ask her to make a couple of adjustments on the day. If anyone else has recommendations for what I might tell her, please chime in!

If you're trying to stay that way but give yourself a little pop, I think that a little eyeliner and some subtle false lashes would be all you need!

I like your makeup! I'm also a "natural" girl and feel like bridal makeup should make a bride look like the best version of her authentic self. Sure you could go for a more glam look and it would likely look beautiful, but would it be you?

I can see how people would comment on the hair more and not the makeup if the hair is a more dramatic departure from what you would do on your own, but the makeup doesn't seem like as drastic of a difference. Personally, I think you should go with what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful and feel like you.

I would be very happy with that makeup and hair style. The makeup is really pretty, but subtle, and looks very natural to me. If you like it, stick with it!

I really love your makeup! I prefer natural looks too. The only thing that I think you should change is adding fake eyelashes, because that will likely give you the POP that everyone seems to need. You are so pretty and will be STUNNING whatever you choose!!!!!
