I’m 10/11/20, and my place recommended sometime in September. I would call the place you booked and see what they say.

I’m doing mine about one month before my wedding. That way I have a good idea at my hair length and still enough time to schedule a 2nd trial if needed.

Mine is September 5 and they told me anytime after June is acceptable just schedule ahead of time as they get busy with other weddings and events. I was told if I planned to get a spray tan to get that for the trial as well or if I'll be getting tan during the summer to wait until I get a good base

Mmmmm depends. If you are certain this place will have you looking how you want I would suggest at least a few months in advance that way time to find a new person or style if you are not happy with your look. Either way definitely do it when you have an event like a shower, bachelorette or date night planned.

I would start now so you can do a couple of trials with different hair and makeup artists. Also make sure u can lock them in for your date.

My hair stylist said about 6 weeks out.

For makeup, I did my trial for my engagement photos (a year out), but would've been comfortable doing it a few months in advance.

Both of the women I hired are extremely talented and I don't have any doubts about how things will turn out. If I was unsure or not completely sold on a vendor, I'd do a trial asap in case I'd need to switch.

I did one an entire year out (before booking) and another 1 month out when I had all my accessories.
