I'm doing a small beach wedding for the two of us. A planned elopement. I have someone coming to do my hair. I am doing my own makeup. Should I do it before or after my hair?

Whenever I have had both hair and makeup done for weddings that I was in, the hair was done first.

Actually the girl curled my hair first and pinned it so it would hold for a bit then did my makeup and then finished my updo and lastly touched up and sprayed my makeup. The person you’ve hired will know the best order to do it in.

I would do hair first so the heat from hair tools don't melt your makeup!
