Just wondering how far in advance did you purchase your hair comb/hair accessories before your wedding? I’m worried that the color will fade if I purchase it now, wedding is in August. If I store in somewhere safe, will it still fade in color or rust? I’m looking in to purchasing one that’s obviously not made out of diamonds or gold, but something nice from like Etsy or amazon.

I think if you keep it away from water and in its package it should be fine. I bought mine months ahead of my wedding but largely didn’t touch it

Pieces with even decent quality shouldn't fade or rust in 6 months. I purchased my hair accessories about 2 months out.

I definitely wouldn’t store it in a moist place like a bathroom drawer. You shouldn’t have any problems what so ever. I’ve had great luck with Etsy jewelry purchases. Good luck and happy planning!

As long as it's stored in a dry place out of light it should be fine

I bought one the day I bought my dress, 8 months before my wedding day. It's just been in a bag with my belt! I don't see why you couldn't buy one now I think it would be fine!

I just got mine in the mail yesterday and my wedding is in 5 weeks. But this is one of those things I felt ok with procrastinating on.

Yeah I wasn't planning on buying one so soon, but the one I've been eyeing was out of stock for a week so I got worried they weren't going to restock it. Now that it's back, I don't want to take any chances and it be gone forever. There's hundreds of hair combs that I've looked at, I'm super picky and this one I actually love and it's super affordable.

I kept looking for one and couldn't finf one that i love. Well in amazon i found the perfect one. Thinking i could just order it and get it two day, not this one. The one i want is not available for prime. Its coming all the way from china. Hopefully it gets here in 2 weeks but right now it has estimate shipping march 9 to march 30th. My wedding is april 18. So don't do what i did lol.

I ordered mine with me dress and it al just came in and I am not getting married until next February! Keeping everything in the bags it came in and not touching them until hair trails and fittings
