Hair down in July?! Talk to me!

Maybe try a part up and part down do? I also have thick hair, just try to pull some of it up onto your head and leave the rest in the waves?

I did half up half down for our June wedding. It was fine! I feel more like “me” with my hair down

You can try a side swept option that would get the hair up off the back of ur neck.

My 1st wedding was in Massachusetts in late June 2014 and my hair was (mostly) down. I couldn’t do a bun or anything where my hair is up because I look like a boy with my hair pulled back lol. Even with my 5-layer veil, my head didn’t feel overheated that day.

Either plan on using a butt ton of hairspray or your hair going flat FAST. Depends on the humidity, but I would do a first look and get your pictures done immediately.

I got married 7/27/19 in an un-air conditioned church with my hair down and I rode to and from the church in an un-air conditioned 1960 rolls royce. I was sweaty but the ceremony was very fast (about 20 minutes) I toughed it out and freshened up in the hotel room after. It was also in the 80’s that day. My reception was fully air conditioned 😂


My personal opinion Is that you’re wearing a full length gown in July. Having your hair up won’t make that much cooler

I had mine half up half down but originally wanted mine up so I could show off the back. But I looked bad with an updo. You can do both. up for ceremony. Down for reception.

Maybe try half up half down? is you wedding outside or inside? you might be okay with your hair down if you don't get to hot normally or if there's air conditioning

Girl you clearly want your hair down. You sound like you have your heart set on it. It sounds like your man is a fan too. DO IT!! Exactly like you like, you won’t regret it. Fingers crossed for a cooler then normal July day for you.

I had my hair down in Denver, our wedding was on July 20! It was totally fine.

Yep! I had extensions in for more length but with the right hair spray it was totally fine!
