Not sure if those hair and nails pills would work for you but in general I hear they do

This might only help with maybe an inch or so, but hair does fmgrow slightly faster during the summer I think. In addition to what Melle said, maybe try spending lots of time outside. I'm no hair expert tho so I could be wrong with that

I know this will sound funny but buy prenatal pills. The kind over the counter works great. I’m not sure how much length you will get but I know I’ve been taking them (not because of pregnancy but hair issues) and my hair has grown thicker and longer in less than 60 days.

I take marine collagen. Not to make my hair grow but it’s an added perk! It helps your nails grow too

Hair skin and nails, or prenatal vitamins, try to avoid using direct heat on your hair and use heat protectant when you do need to, wear your hair down as much as possible to avoid breakage, wear a hat or leave in conditioner when you'll be in the sun.

All of this, plus wash your hair less frequently. Less product is your friend. Lots of dark leafy greens, too!

Second all the comments about prenatal vitamins or biotin! As well as wearing your hair down as much as possible and getting the fabric elastics for pony tail holders instead of anything abrasive. I used lots of clips and Bobby pins to pull my hair back while growing it out too!

Agree, biotin and prenatals!! Also, 2 years ago I stopped using heat styling and my hair has just grown like crazy. I sleep on silk pillowcases as well (you can find cheap ones on Amazon or at Ross) and that has helped prevent breakage!

Biotin. I've been taking 10,000 mg (2 5,000 pills) everyday. It's amazing how fast my hairs grown and how much healthier it is.

Prenatal vitamins or anything with biotin in it promotes hair growth. Also washing your hair too often strips it of natural oils which makes it more vulnerable to breakage. If you condition your hair, put coconut oil or aloe vera on it prior to conditioning for a few minutes and it does wonders for helping strengthen and grow hair.

I'm trying to do the same. I went to get my hair cut for the summer well trimmed and ahw messed my hair up bad so it had to be chopped off. Now it wont grow back !! I'm freaking out because I'm not sure if it will be the length I need it for our April wedding and not to mention our engagment photos. I looked into extensions and omg I got quoted 700. No thanks !

Honestly, patience...also don’t wash hair daily. That’s what I’ve learned with getting my hair cut shorter than anticipated. 🙄

Like many have said Biotin, Prenatal Vitamins, and leaving your hair alone as much as possible are all recipes for hair growth. In addition, lots and lots of water!!! One of the PPs said their hair grows more in the summer. So does mine. My hair loves the sun (vitamin D) and the humidity.

I have personally done this before and it worked. I mixed 1tsp of MSM powder with water and vitamin C (or just orange juice) every morning. Took 5000mg of biotin and I mixed collagen with my protein shakes. My curly grew more during this period than without.

I had AWFUL hair when we got engaged, I had a brutal chemical cut and it was damaged from bleaching too much. I had 18 months to get healthier hair, so a little more than you. For the first year, I didn't touch my hair with color at all. I got trims every 8 weeks and that's it. I used Ovation Cell Therapy shampoo/conditioner/mask/leave in every time I washed (typically 6 times a week - I have really oily hair). I started taking biotin w/ collagen vitamins, and slept on a silk pillowcase. I bought "no pull" hair ties and used heat on my hair as little as possible. When I did, I used heat protectant first. I also bought the soft towel dry wraps for my hair so I didn't wrap it up in a normal towel and pull it! I used coconut oil once a week for 30 minutes before washing it out too. I bought olaplex and didn't see amazing results.

Prenatal vitamins and biotin. My friends hair fell out due to an illness and it grew back so fast and so healthy with the vitamins and biotin. You can also do biotin leave in conditioners if you're worried about it looking healthier
