That is such a beautiful dress. I think a lot of people do a half up half down hairstyle and that will look really great on you too

Oh wow, you’re so beautiful!! I personally can’t stand my hair on the back of my neck so I’d do a soft, whimsical updo. Maybe something with a braid. But this dress would look stunning with a half up style as well. Have you looked on Pinterest? Best wishes to you!!!

View Quoted Comment Thank you! Part of the reason for partially down is that I have a tattoo on my back that my mother hates to look at as she isn’t a fan of any tattoos. Not sure if I can find anything to cover it up yet— or if it’ll look blotchy. I do love the styles with a thick braid in them!

View Quoted Comment I agree with Niki's assessment. The back of your dress is really pretty, so it'd be nice to highlight that by not covering it up. Are you having your makeup done professionally? If so, your makeup artist might be able to cover up the tattoo for you if you're concerned about it.

I think the type of hairstyle is very personal but there are many variables to consider -- time of year (is it going to be hot, cold, mild?), indoor venue/outdoor venue, style of dress, etc. If you want to wear it down to cover your tattoo, I get that. However, you really want it up so you don't to deal with it all day, there ARE ways to cover that. CoverFX has makeup made to cover things like tattoos and scars and things. The makeup, when applied properly, is non transferring. There are also drugstore foundations that are non transferring, so you can always test those out before hand to get the right shade and technique.
