I plan on tipping my hair and makeup artists 20% of my total cost (assuming that I am happy with the work completed!)

I tipped about 25% but that was because my hairstylist did me a huge huge favor, scheduling within only a week of the wedding day after my trial with another stylist didn’t go well. I’d normally do 20%.


There was no time for a trial with her so she practiced the style I wanted, sent pictures beforehand and came in on her day off extra early the morning of. I didn’t worry about my hair all day so she was worth the extra bit.

20% cash! My MOH had extra cash she could add if a vendor truly went above and beyond.
