Hair & Makeup the day of

Both my hmua and the one I used when I was a bridesmaid took an hour per person and 2 hours for the bride. For that many people they’ll probably recommend two. If they’re not doing make up it won’t take as long but it can still take a while for 8 people.

Are you doing your own hair and make up or are you having it professionally done?

If you are having it professionally done the MUA/hairstylist should be able to give you an estimate of how long it will take.

I have 8 people (including myself) getting ready. We have 3 hair and makeup artists total. We start at 1pm and finish at 5pm.

Your hair and makeup artists can answer that based on how many people they are working on and if they are bringing in a team vs one person to do everyone.

How I time minded was at the bridal fitting my daughter and my SIL will assisting me so we did trail to see how long everything took. The clerk time us. So try having a dry run with everyone if your wedding party isn't so large and everyone can participate.

I'd plan on 45 minutes per service for bridesmaids & moms, and an hour per service for the bride. We had me (bride), 9 bridesmaids, 3 moms, and the flower girl getting hair and makeup done so we hired 4 artists total to do it and it still took from 10AM-4PM.
