Hair makeup timeline

What time is your ceremony? You can work around that. Depending on the time some people get their hair done the morning of and their makeup done two hours prior to the wedding. This will allow you time to get dress and the photographer to come in to take some get ready photos.

Do they need to know this immediately? I booked my HMUAs without letting them know what time we have to be ready.

Are you able to get ready at the church? The one I'm getting married at only allows us to be there an hour before the ceremony, so hair and makeup all has to be done beforehand at a different location. I'd suggest figuring out when you can get into the church, where you'd be getting services done, how much travel needs to be baked into that, and how many people you'll have that want hair and/ or makeup done. Your HMUA should be able to advise based on all of that info.
