Hair & makeup trial the day of the rehearsal dinner??

Hi everyone!


I am planning a "destination" wedding that is about 7 hours from my current location and 4 hours from any family (we picked it because it's the halfway point between both of our families). Since I'm so far from the area, a hair/makeup trial doesn't seem realistic. I'm not super picky about my hair and makeup, so I was going to just use the "trial" on the day of our rehearsal dinner & welcome party. Has anyone else done this?? The artist has great reviews, so I'm not super about her.

    I have the same situation! We are having a destination wedding (13 hours away) and my makeup artist works on movies and tv shows, and she will be on set the days leading up to our wedding. Depending on her schedule, I might get to have a trial the day before, which I had planned to use for our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner as well. There is a chance though that I won’t even be able to have a trial, and will just have to go in blindly the day of the wedding! I’m super nervous and crossing all my fingers and toes that she is able to do the trial the day before!

    I think that sounds like a great idea, and you're at least getting some use out of your trial too!
