Hair & Makeup Trials

I’ve heard that it’s best to schedule makeup trials on the day of your engagement photo shoot or bridal shower!

I think closer is better, but I did mine 8 months out because that’s when I could travel

My hair and makeup artist did trials 4-6 weeks before the wedding.

I am a little over 7 months out. I booked my trial last week, but it is booked for a date about 10 weeks before the wedding. I wanted to make sure I could have it done on a weekend (Sunday).

I'm 10 months out and I had my hair trial. This was the first one though to see if I was for sure about booking her and to see what styles I liked! This was helpful though because it gave me an idea of other hair accessories too, like a veil or hair pieces. I'll have another trial closer to my wedding date

I have separate hair and makeup artists.

For makeup, I just recently had my trial to coincide with my engagement photos.

For hair, the stylist said we’d do the trial 6 weeks out from the wedding.

Maybe I waited too much but I did mine 3 weeks in advance

I booked it as soon as I could!! Which was MONTHS ago. I just wanted to make sure I got the day I wanted. Its never too early Just confirm when you're closer to the day.
