My daughter has a friend who is a professional makeup artist- she told me to check out her work on Instagram. I loved what she did & was amazed at my trial.
I used to live in the Phoenix area & had an extremely talented nail tech. I’ve already set up my appointment with her for the day before my wedding.

I would join a local facebook community page and ask for hair/makeup artist in the area and you will probably get a ton of responses. You can then check out their work and compare prices.

And yes as previous post, Instagram is a also a great way to check out their work.

Check and see if your wedding venue has an approved vendor list that they have worked with before and start your search there! If you don’t have a venue with a list then try thumbtack or even here! You can look up certain vendors in the area you moved to and it provides you with a lot of options, as well as reviews from other brides that have used them!

Your photographer might know of and recommend a hair and makeup vendor. Do you have any friends who are more local to your area, they might have some recommendations?

Thumbstack, the knot, fb pages, Instagram, or consider checking out a local Ulta or Sephora.

Your photographer, if you have one already , may have have a few people they usually work with, so you may want to ask and start there. The Knot is also a good place to look.
