Having pictures are a great idea to share with the person, however, I think you need to narrow down the type of look that you are going for. You have a little bit of everything and she is going to want to know which way you are leaning ......up, down, had up, etc. And of course tell her what you don’t like. Good luck!

I have my trial in about a month, and I'm wondering the same thing. I think I'm going to try and email pictures ahead of time so I can put in text exactly what I'm thinking. If that's not an option for you, I'd bring all the photos to talk through, but also try to narrow it to one that's really close to what you want so your HMU artist can focus on a single image.

I think I would just show her pictures of what you like. Then if she styles it and you don't like it, try to correct from there.

If showing her what you don't like helps her style what you do, then I get it but asking for a pretty updo and showing her that you don't like those hairstyles that are completely different with your hair down won't really help her. my best friend showed that same third picture you posted with the braid (so pretty) but also showed the stylist that she didn't want her hair to be all pulled back and look boring in the front using pictures for reference, then showed pictures with a few pieces of hair down and curled in the front and said this is what I do want and her hair trial went great! she got exactly what she wanted.
