Hair Trial on Shower Day?

Courtney, on January 9, 2020 at 6:42 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 7
I have an appointment scheduled to get my hair fixed for my shower. Should I use this as a hair trial appointment? I am sure I will be seeing my fiance on that day. Do you think he will remember what it looks like? 😂

I was thinking of going with this hairstyle. Would it be too fancy looking to wear for a bridal shower? I wouldnt put the wedding headband in. I just worry it will look too fancy. Afterwards, we are going to have a painting party and go out for drinks. Doing it all in one day as my MOH lives out of state.
Hair Trial on Shower Day? 1The other option I was thinking about was this that I saw on here the other day. Hair Trial on Shower Day? 2

Truthfully I don't think it matters if he sees your hair and makeup and happy it's going to be on the wedding day as long as he doesn't see your dress. Honestly you could just brush it off and just say that you got your hair done for the showert and he probably wouldn't even notice. You'd be surprised how little some men didn't know about weddings and all that stuff. I think it looks very lovely.

I used my trail for my shower. My wife wouldn’t have remembered anyway, but once I saw the completed look, my hair stylist voluntarily changed the style up a little bit so that shower guests wouldn’t see my exact look.

Have your trial done that day and then once you decide on a style, just have the stylist adjust it so it’s not exactly like how you want it on your wedding day. If your bridal look is having your hair down or swept to one side, have the stylist convert it to a low chignon. If your hair is going to be down on your wedding day, maybe have the stylist convert it to a half updo, etc.

Those are good suggestions. It might be easy to take that hairstyle and put it in a fancy ponytail.
